We are writing to you today regarding a difficult situation involving a teacher at Kouts Middle/High School. We know that when issues like this arise, they can be concerning and unsettling for our community. Please know that we hear your concerns and take them with the utmost seriousness.
As soon as we became aware of the alleged comments made by this individual, we took immediate action and started a thorough investigation. Our priority throughout this process has been, and will always be, the safety and well-being of our students.
During this process, it was determined that it is in the best interest of all stakeholders to part ways, and the teacher is no longer employed with East Porter County School Corporation.
Our commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment remains unwavering. Every member of our staff plays a vital role in upholding our values of respect and professionalism, and we remain dedicated to working together to serve our students and families.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we move forward together.
